Street lighting

Neither Eastbourne Borough Council nor Lewes District Council deal with issues regarding street lighting on public highways. You should report any street lighting problems to East Sussex Highways.

Eastbourne Borough Council does maintain lighting in council owned parks, off-street car parks, and along the seafront promenade to report an issue with any of these please use our Contact Us form.

For issues with lighting in Homes First blocks or service roads please visit our housing repairs and maintenance page to make a report.

If the lights are out due to an electricity fault they are the responsibility of UK Power Networks to look into and should be contacted direct.
