About our website

In July 2023, the councils' moved our joint website to a new hosting platform. The information on the website is the same but we've been able to iron out some of the creases of the previous website and start introducing some improvements, especially around accessibility.

Choose information from your council

Our website now makes it easier to find information specific to each council area. You can choose your council, or both, and easily switch between them from the top of every web page.

There are some pages which still need to show all services for both councils. If you have already chosen your own council, once you select one of the services, the information from your chosen council will be displayed.

Our online forms

We are working hard with our different 3rd-party providers to set up a new My Account area for all our customers. In the meantime, some online forms may be unavailable. We are aiming to fix this as soon as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

If you're having trouble with an online form and you want to report something to us, please send us a message on our social media pages. We'll do our best to assist you through those channels.

Further improvements

The move to this platform is a first step in a longer-term project to give our website a complete refresh and upgrade.

This builds on other improvements we have been making to our online services, such as introducing web chat and AI technology to answer your questions inside and outside of working hours.

There will be opportunities to feed your views into the longer-term website refresh project and we will publish details of this in the coming months.
