Report anti-social behaviour, noise and nuisance
Use this form to report anti-social behaviour, noise or nuisances. These include:
- A noise issue involving a Homes First tenant or leaseholder
- Anti social behaviour or a nuisance involving a Homes First tenant or leaseholder
- Bonfires - Building contractors should never burn rubbish onsite, as it is an offence to burn trade waste. Waste should be removed by a licensed contractor. Contact the Environment Agency to report burning of trade waste on 0800 807060.
- Contaminated land
- Dangerous or aggressive dog
- Flies/insects from commercial activity, such as farms. You must identify the commercial premises. We cannot investigate naturally occurring increases in insect populations.
- Homes First garden is very untidy or has lots of rubbish
- Poor air quality

- Dust - If a business premises or building site is causing excessive dust, you can report it to us for investigation. Dust must interfere substantially with your wellbeing or enjoyment of your home. We cannot investigate dust issues outside your home, such as on cars, washing or windows.
- Feeding large birds - Large birds, such as seagulls and pigeons, have no registered keeper and the council is limited in the action it can take. We can only investigate foodstuffs left on the ground that may attract vermin.

- Private gardens attracting vermin - We can only investigate rubbish in gardens if it could cause a public health issue. Waste, such as soft bedding that vermin can nest in or food waste, could spread disease. We cannot enforce the removal of other rubbish, such as building rubble, car parts, discarded furniture or electrical equipment.
