Seaford town centre welcomes Wave Active to Clinton Place
A well-known shop in Seaford town centre is being transformed into a launch pad for active lifestyles.

Wave Active operates sports and leisure centres on behalf of Lewes District Council and delivers a range of physical activities and health interventions for those with health conditions and is now creating a new digital hub for all things connected to physical activity in Seaford and surrounding communities.
Councillor Johnny Denis, Cabinet Member for Tourism & Leisure at Lewes District Council, said:
"Clinton Place is a new digital-first community and marketing hub designed to connect residents and visitors with local activities, services and experiences.
"It will act as a central showcase platform for sport, physical activity, wellbeing and tourism opportunities, helping people discover what's available locally and how to get involved.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to bring even more energy and wellbeing into the heart of Seaford, and I'm delighted to see Wave Active expanding its presence in such a positive way."
Visitors to Clinton Place will be able to directly access local activity providers, including bike hire, water sports and fitness sessions, community organisations, 'things to do' and other tourism experiences and Wave Active facilities, memberships and programmes at local sports and leisure centres.
Duncan Kerr, Chief Executive of Wave Active, said:
"Clinton Place is a new digital hub designed to showcase what's happening locally - connecting people with activities, experiences and opportunities to get active, explore and be part of the community.
"This is a very exciting new part of Wave Active's engagement with communities in the district, and I hope people in Seaford and from far and wide are encouraged to visit us and see how easily they can access and benefit from a more active and healthier lifestyle."
The activity hub is due to open in April. For more information visit: waveactive.org/wave-active-clinton-place
