Apply for a Temporary Event Notice

We grant temporary event notices (TEN) to authorise events for licensable activities, including providing entertainment, late night refreshments and selling alcohol.

  • A Temporary Event Notice (TEN) application usually takes around two weeks and depends on how quickly you return documents to us   
  • It is essential to read the guidance notes and our licensing fees information below before starting your application
  • For a 'Late' TEN there must be at least 5-9 working days. For a 'Standard' TEN, 10 working days between the date you submit this form and the date of the earliest event when you will be using these premises for licensable activities..
