How to report potholes to East Sussex Highways or dropped kerb obstructions to East Sussex County Council.

Report pothole problems to East Sussex Highways

Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Council do not deal with potholes on the region's roads.

You should report pothole problems to East Sussex Highways.

Their website will give you more information but before you report the pothole they will need to know:

  • Where it is. Please give the road name, village, town, nearby landmarks or house numbers
  • How big it is. For example, golf ball, tennis ball or football sized. Please only measure if safe to do so
  • Your contact details, in case they need more information
