Engage before eviction

This is a free and impartial service to landlords in the Lewes district and Eastbourne borough to engage with us prior to serving an eviction notice. We can offer advice on tenancy issues including rent arrears as well as mediation services. We look to prevent homelessness at the earliest opportunity.

Please Note - This scheme is open to landlords in Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Council areas. This is not for customers who have an open homelessness case or an active housing application, in this instance please visit our Housing pages for further guidance on eligibility, or to start an application.

Who can apply?

The scheme is available to all landlords with properties within Lewes district or Eastbourne borough.
