Eastbourne Borough Plan
The Eastbourne Borough Plan outlines the policy framework used to determine planning applications.
The Development Plan for Eastbourne (formerly known as the Local Development Framework) consists of a series of Local Development Documents. These documents provide the planning policy framework which is used to determine planning applications within Eastbourne borough.
The Eastbourne Borough Plan (2001-2011) was adopted in 2003 and contains a number of saved policies which are still used to determine planning applications. The saved policies will remain as local policies until they are replaced by new policies in further Local Development Documents.
You can download a copy of the Borough Plan chapters below along with a document that outlines all of the policies that have been saved on adoption of the Core Strategy in February 2013.
