Service status

You are now on the councils' new website hosting platform. The information on the website is the same but we've been able to iron out some of the creases of the previous website and start introducing some improvements, especially around accessibility.

Choose information from your council

The new website makes it easier to find information specific to each council area. You can choose your council, or both, and easily switch between them from the top of every web page.

There are some pages which still need to show all services for both councils. If you have already chosen your own council, once you select one of the services, the information from your chosen council will be displayed.

Moving our online forms

We are aware there may be some issues with online forms as the site moves over. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. 

If you're having trouble with an online form and you want to report something to us, please send us a message on our social media pages. We'll do our best to assist you through those channels.

Further improvements

The move is a first step in a longer-term project to give our website a complete refresh and upgrade.

This builds on other improvements we have been making to our online services, such as introducing web chat and AI technology to answer your questions inside and outside of working hours.

There will be opportunities to feed your views into the longer-term website refresh project and we will publish details of this in the coming months.
