An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Income Maximisation and Welfare team for a Rents Advisor. Your main purpose will be to collect and maximise income in line with our policies and procedures. Proactively engaging with tenants, offering support and advice and collecting income in a timely manner to sustain tenancies.
You will see that the main responsibilities include:
- Taking Payments over the phone to effectively reduce rent arrears
- Manage and maintain tenants' Cx accounts & sub accounts effectively and understand when to consult with others
- Assist the efficient, effective and consistent processing and resolution of customer case work, identifying and meeting customer needs and ensuring the sharing and dissemination of best practice
- Interacting with customers across multiple channels: face to face, phone, letter, email, via customer portal and self-service channels and a range of social media channels
- Manage rule-based customer and issues effectively and understand when to consult with others
- Access and accurately update all relevant systems, both customer and back office.
- Reviewing and moderating reports and requests, proactively managing and resolving them where possible or referring them to the relevant team or contractor using scripts and processes when required
