All of the East Sussex County Council Household waste and Recycling Centres accept fridges, freezers, and fridge freezers free of charge. You can also use the council's chargeable Bulky Waste Collection Service Collection Service. If you are using a waste removal firm "man and a van", please check that they have a Waste Carriers Licence and that you get a receipt from them. Please keep a copy of the licence (a photo on your phone will service) for future reference.

If there is still life in the appliance then please consider donating it to a charity or advertising it on Freegle and Freecycle
