Sharps collections
We offer a free collection service for households who need to dispose of used and unused sharps (like needles, syringes and other sharp instruments). You must put sharps in special sharps boxes which are available from us, or on prescription from your GP or healthcare professional.
Use our online form to start, stop or change a sharps collection in Eastbourne or the Lewes district. This also covers clinical waste.
Sharps collections for Lewes residents
Sharps are collected from 6AM on Wednesdays.
Sharps collections for Eastbourne residents
In Eastbourne we collect sharps boxes on Wednesdays. We can supply you with a new box on your collection day if you need one.
