Clothes, shoes and bags can be taken to a designated clothing bank, your nearest one can be found on Recycle Now. You can also take them to an East Sussex County Council run Household Waste and Recycling Site.

Donate, sell or swap clothes to reduce the impact to the environment. Alternatively, Anglo Doorstep Collections offer a free collection service for certain items you may want to dispose of.

Blankets and duvets cannot go in your household refuse bin and should be disposed of at an East Sussex County Council run Household Waste and Recycling Site.

The Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) launched a Sustainable Clothing Action Plan setting out way textile and clothing retailers can be more sustainable. The government has produced a Sustainable Clothing Roadmap setting out actions to improve the sustainability performance of clothing.
