Issues and options topic papers 2010

The Core Strategy 'Issues and Emerging Options' Topic Papers set out our proposed vision for the district and the issues that we think need to be addressed in the plan period. The nine Topic Papers were consulted on between 21st May and 16th July 2010 and were accompanied by a Sustainability Appraisal/ SEA Scoping Report.

Emerging document 2011

The Emerging Core Strategy was consulted on between 30 September 2011 and 2 December 2011.  The Emerging Core Strategy built upon the previous Core Strategy 'Issues and Emerging Options' Topic Papers consultation. Proposed submission 2013

The Proposed Submission Core Strategy and its accompanying Sustainability Appraisal were consulted on between Friday, 11 January and Friday, 22 March 2013.  Representations to this consultation, including a representation summary and Statement of Representations Procedure, can be viewed upon request. Proposed Submission Focussed Amendments 2014

The Proposed Submission Core Strategy Focussed Amendments document and its accompanying Sustainability Appraisal were consulted on between Friday, 16 May and Friday, 11 July 2014.  Representations were only sought on the amendments, identified as tracked changes in the Focussed Amendments Document.  Schedules containing major and minor amendments were produced which you can download from our examination library.

Representations made on the Focussed and Minor Amendments and other representations received that were more general in nature or related to parts of the Core Strategy that had not been amended, are available to view upon request. Proposed modifications 2015

In response to the Inspector's Initial Findings letter, Lewes District Council and the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) prepared a number of proposed modifications to the submission Joint Core Strategy. You can download the schedules of proposed main, additional and minor modifications, along with other relevant documents including justification papers, Addendum to the Sustainability Appraisal and written statements from our examination library.  You can also download below documents relating to the hearing meetings (including pre and resumed hearings).
