From Friday 21 March to Friday 16 May 2025, we are inviting feedback on the draft Lewes District Air Quality Action Plan.
Eastbourne Land Availability Assessment

We are seeking views on two Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs). The first relates to Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) and the other to Tourist Accommodation Retention. Have your say by Friday 25 April 2025.
Home energy surveys for Lewes district
We are inviting Lewes district residents to give their views on home improvements that could either save money on energy bills or help improve the environment. Take the survey by 5pm on Wednesday 30 April 2025 (this deadline has been extended).
Closed: Eastbourne Parking Permit Consultation
From Friday 21 February to Friday 4 April 2025 we consulted over proposals for a new parking permit scheme for Eastbourne. The proposed parking permit scheme would apply to off-street car parks owned by Eastbourne Brough Council.
Closed: Survey on the future provision of the Tourist Information Centre in Lewes
From February to March 2025 we worked with local consultants Blue Sail, in partnership with Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Lewes Town Council to undertake a consultation on the future provision of the TIC. This project is ongoing and will encompass the thoughts of local businesses, residents and tourists. Updates will be provided on www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk/187HighStreet as conversations progress.
Government consultation on Devolution in Sussex and Brighton
Government has launched consultations over the six areas included in its Devolution Priority Programme, including Sussex and Brighton. The consultation will run until midnight on Sunday 13 April 2025.
