Government consultation on Devolution in Sussex and Brighton

Government has launched consultations over the six areas included in its Devolution Priority Programme, including Sussex and Brighton.

The consultation seeks views on a proposal to form a Mayoral Combined County Authority for the local government areas of East Sussex County Council, West Sussex County Council, and Brighton and Hove City Council.

The consultation will run until midnight on Sunday 13 April 2025.
