Festival of creativity dazzles art lovers
Artwave is in full swing across Lewes district as the middle weekend of the visual arts festival approaches, promising a wealth of exciting events to enjoy.
Artwave was launched on September 7 and runs over three weekends until September 22. It continues to be one of the largest visual arts festivals in the south east, connecting hundreds of artists and makers with tens of thousands of appreciative viewers and visitors each year.
To plan your visit, pick up a printed guide from Lewes or Seaford Tourist Information Centres, from Charleston Lewes, at venues around the district, or browse the guide online at artwavefestival.org.
Art lovers have the opportunity to follow four trails, taking in an array of exhibitions along the way. The trails are: Haven Trail, Seaford Trail, Lewes Trail and Rural Trail.
Artwave is made possible by the support of Lewes District Council and local businesses, including headline sponsors Artelium Wine Estate.
