Local Housing Allowance Rates

Local Housing Allowance (LHA) are used to help work out Housing Benefit rates. LHA rates are based on the local rental market. Gov.uk - local housing allowance has more information about how LHA is calculated, and there is further information about eligibility and guidance on our Local Housing Allowance guidance page.

LHA rates are updated each April. The rate that you receive is determined by the date that you move in or the date that you make the claim. The LHA rate stays the same for a year once your claim has been set up. Please select your relevant council document below to find your current LHA rates.
