Currency of information

Our website lists basic textual and spatial information on all planning/planning appeal applications back to 1948. More detailed information is contained for applications received after 1992. Applications received after March 2006 have been processed using our database planning system and should contain complete planning information. Enforcement records are current from March 2006, however all served notices since 1973 are included. All of our spatial holdings are subject to the Ordnance Survey's Positional Accuracy Improvement (PAI) Programme. We have used a specialist PAI correction programme to adjust all of our planning spatial records to post-PAI mapping. However, some records may still be affected by a level of PAI inaccuracy and users should take this fact into account whilst performing any map based searches. All inaccuracies found should be reported to our GIS Officer.
